Inagi city is a suburban city within 30 minutes by train from Shinjuku Station.

As a residential city, it is a convenient town for both commuting and going to school, also blessed with nature surrounded by Tama hills and the Tama river.
The city is also famous as fruits land ,in particular, pear and grape.

Since 1970, the population has increased year after year as a residential area. There are currently about 90,000 people in the city. Please visit and enjoy the old and local historical heritage near the Metropolitan.

Anasawa-tenjinja Shrine is located in the middle of hill, which has a longest history with cultural heritage in the city. This shrine has been designated as a high prestigious shrine from of the Heian period (794 -1185).Main building itself was rebuilt in the Edo period (1694). As a cultural heritage, Shishimai(lion)-dance is shown on Sunday near August 25th every year.

At the foot of the hill, you will find the natural water which citizens use in usual life for the tea etc.
