Morioka Castle was built in Edo period. Today, Morioka Castle Site Park boasts of its beautiful stone wall once the castle was built on and abundant nature which soothes people.

This park is designated as one of Japan’s Top 100 Castles and Japan’s Top 100 Historical Parks. You can enjoy its beautiful scenery in each season.

Not to mention the magnificent view of Mt. Iwate. The park is located in down town Morioka and is easy to access. You can’t miss it!
