To commemorate the 1150th anniversary of the founding of DAIGOJI Temple, a famous temple in Kyoto, the "Celebrating the 1150th anniversary of the Founding Daigoji Temple and its National Treasures" will be held at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka.
Precious Buddhist statues and paintings from the Heian period, including 47 Important cultural property, among approximately 90 temple treasures, will be on display.
Special attention is given to the important cultural property, the "Nyoirin Kannon Zazo". The audio guide will be provided by Akira Kawashima of Kirin.
In addition to the exhibition, related events such as "Digital Mandala Art" and "Talk Sessions" will also be enriching. The exhibition will run from June 15 to August 25, 2024, so please don't miss this historic exhibition.
